It was well known amongst all her friends that Maxine was not flexible growing up. In fact, she couldn’t even touch her toes when she first started yoga at the end of 2014. However, she quickly realised that you don’t have to be flexible in order to do yoga, because everyone starts their journey at different points. Yoga has not only helped her get rid of her lower back pain, but has definitely also helped her performance at the gym and vice versa!
Maxine wants her students to know that she has been through the same struggles, so if she can do it, you can too! It makes her day when her students tell her that they’ve now been inspired to practise more, or simply seeing them unlock a new pose.
